Since we got bumped off our flight and were forced to hang out in the Atlanta airport for 8 hours I had to get creative. This is my "travel system" that I created for Tennyson and I.
But once we arrived it seemed that all our troubles melted away. We did many things. We watched lots of baseball games. This is Isaac up to bat.
We went grocery shopping . . .
We went swimming . . .
We played at the playground . . .
We watched buffalo . . .
We attended an outdoor patriotic concert . . .
We played in the garden . . .
Tennyson and neighbor Clair got to be good friends. She called him "baby Tennesee" the whole time. She is only 6 months older than him but loved playing his mother. This little girl has a lot of energy. I was amazed to meet a toddler crazier than Tennyson.
We laid on the plentiful grass. It was green and free of doggy doo-doo.
This is was one of the very rare moments that David and Robin actually got to spend some time together. I thought it needed to be documented.
Sadly, all good things come to an end and we had to leave the land of the Sioux. But happily, new fun was about to begin. We arrived at Grandpa and Grandma Hurst's in St. George and boy were we glad to set up camp for a while. Aunt Nicole kindly invited us over to swim with cousins Chloe & Ethan. Tennyson loved the bit of independece that the life vest gave him.
Maybe too much independence. This kid is absolutely fearless.
