Our precious baby boy (yet to be named -- please help!) arrived on Wednesday, June 2, at 6:42 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces, measured 21 1/2 inches long, and is perfect. Suzy may decide to post more details of her experience in a future post, but suffice it to say that Suzanne was absolutely amazing, and both mother and child are home, resting, and in remarkable health.
Tennyson adores his baby brother, and is smothering him with hugs, kisses, and pillows (that last one's a slight problem).
Our ninety-minute-old baby and his elated parents. Ninety minutes . . . did I mention Suzanne was amazing? She's one hot momma in this picture, and was doing even better two hours later when we stopped off to get her favorite Roasted Marshmallow Milkshake from Good Stuff Eatery on the way home from the birth center.
As Suzanne says, "He's SOOOOO yummy!"

Congrats!! I have been waiting to see pictures. He IS yummy! I can't wait to meet him, and I'm so glad it won't be long. I still like the name Colter. I was going to use it if we had a boy. It makes me think of Yellowstone. Maybe it's too generic sounding for you guys though. Other than that, I have no ideas - sorry. Technically it was my birthday here when he was born, even though it was a different date. I think we'll be kindred spirits!
WOW!! Congratulations to all! Go Suzanne! He is very handsome. Naming is hard. It took us 3 days to settle on Mary's name, and even then I wasn't too sure. I like the name Benjamin, but I think your son's name starts with D. It is on the tip of my tongue when I see his picture. (Hint: as long as there are not capital letters interspersed throughout, everything will be fine.)

Congratulations! Good luck on the name--we take some time with names too! Both of our girls didn't officially have a name until check out time from the hospital! You'll figure out the perfect name for him. You have a beautiful family!

Congratulations! And I have to add that Suzanne--you look amazing! Little William Tait is beautiful (love the name!), and Tennyson looks adorable with those red curls.
