We had a great weekend camping on Assateague Island, a Maryland State Forest. Our campsite was right on the beach, making for a great evening around the campfire, and plenty of fun playing on the beach and in the ocean during the day. Though the water was quite pleasant, Tennyson didn't enjoy splashing in the waves as much as he liked digging in the beach and eating fists full of sand.

We are sure that cousin Abby would be Tennyson's favorite cousin if she ever came to DC to visit him (hint hint).
